‘Aria the Avvenire’ Anime Reveals Some Production Details

‘Aria the Avvenire’ Anime Reveals Some Production Details The surprise about a new anime adaptation for the Aria property with Aria the Avvenire is still in full force, but some details are starting to come out with more to be revealed in the next installment of Comic Blade magazine. It’s still unknown as to what format this adaptation will be, such as a web series, TV series, OVA or film, though it’s mostly believed that whatever it ends up being it’ll be all new material, whether it takes place after the third season or stories sprinkled within the other seasons.

The new details that have surfaced have revealed that the new production is going to be animated by TYO Animations and that Masayuki Onji is set to handle the character designs for it. And with Junichi Sato talking about the production, it’s likely he’s involved in some form as well.

The series has seen a solid release in anime form in North America over the years with Nozomi Entertainment bringing it out in limited edition form on DVD as well as priced-down litebox releases. The manga has seen a less than solid run between ADV Manga and TOKYOPOP over the years as it’s never been released in full.

Property concept: Akari Mizunashi, at the age of 15, has left everything behind to travel to a sparkling planet covered in water, Aqua. More than anything, Akari wants to be an “undine” – a female gondolier who navigates the canals of the Aquan city of Neo-Venezia. As she begins her training with the prestigious Aria Company, will she be up to the challenges that await her on the path to achieve her dream?
