Announced back in June as yet another of the lengthily named manga series out there getting an anime adaptation, the four panel manga Danna ga Nani o Itte Iru ka Wakaranai Ken has gotten a little bit of new information for it. The series, which had its fourth volume released earlier this year, began in 2011 by Kyoushinsha cool and translates literally to I Can’t Understand What My Husband Is Saying. Pairing an office lady with an otaku certainly sounds like a winning combination for humor.
With it set for an October premiere and little information about it, the official site has updated with the first key visual for it of the two leads while also announcing the casting of it. Yukari Tamura is taking on the role of Kaoru while Kenichi Suzumura is taking on Hajime.
Plot concept: The manga follows the daily life of an earnest, hardworking office lady named Kaoru and her otaku husband, who is totally immersed in a certain huge net bulletin board system.
