Samuel L. Jackson always has interesting projects lined up and he’s in the midst of several at different stages, having worked recently in the Oldboy Hollywood adaptation as well as the time spent with Afro Samurai. He’s no stranger for Asian cinema and media by any stretch and the latest news is that he’s joined the long percolating David R. Ellis adaptation of the Kite anime. Little has been said about the film for awhile, but Ellis has been attached to it all this time and working on it, and if casting is closing in on names like Jackson, expect more information to come sooner rather than later.
According to Movies.com , Jackson said:
“After [RoboCop], I’m going to do this live-action version of Kite, the Japanese anime. I’ll be doing a live-action version of that in Johannesburg.”
