With a new event in Japan today for Yuruyuri, it was confirmed via it and original creator Namori on their Twitter feed that a third season of the show has been given approval to go forward. This series follows up the 2011 and 2012 series, which were streamed by Crunchyroll and released on home video by NIS America, as well as an OVA release. No details about the production were revealed or when it might debut, or how long it might have already been in production.
Plot concept: Right after starting middle school, Akari Akaza joins the Amusement Club which is composed solely by her two childhood friends, Kyouko Toshinou and Yui Funami. Chinatsu Yoshikawa, Akaza’s classmate, becomes a member after finding out about the dissolution of the Tea Club.
The Amusement Club, situated at the tea room facility since the Tea Club disbanded, has no clear purpose, being free for the girls to do whatever they want.
